Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Variety Theatre will not present an in-person theatrical performance in 2020. Therefore, we are not in need of volunteers at this time.

Child assistants help our ensemble of Variety and inclusive kids and teens throughout the rehearsal and performance process. These volunteers help with tracking all entrances and exits for the kids during rehearsals, learning their parts in the show, and providing supervision and support while backstage during technical rehearsals and performances. Paid positions are also available. Background checks for all Child Assistant volunteer and paid positions are required.
Dressers work backstage on the wardrobe team the week of technical rehearsals and during performances. They assist with costume preparations for each performance and costume changes throughout the show. In this volunteer role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our professional wardrobe team and the cast. For more information, please contact Joy Addler.
